Cerita Motivasi – Sendal Pembawa Hikmah ‘Ikhlas’

Cerita Motivasi – Sendal Pembawa Hikmah ‘Ikhlas’

Sholat jum’at baru saja usai.

“Itu katanya sendalnya hilang,” jawab si  A (sambil menunjuk seorang remaja)
“Siapa pak?” jawab si B.
“Itu tadi katanya” jawab lagi si A.
“Lho bukannya ada CCTV, suruh ngecek saja” sahut lagi si B.
“Iya, tadi juga saya tawarkan, tapi katanya ngga usah pak” jawab lagi si A.
“Kalau lihat CCTV kan nanti bisa tau siapa yang ambil” jawab lagi si B.
“Iya, tadi saya bilang gitu, tapi katanya ngga usah. Ngga halal, tapi kalau punya saya halal” begitu. Dia anak pondok katanya, pondok daerah XXXX” jawab di A lagi.

10 Ways How to Be a Good Tutor (Private Tutor) for Students

10 Ways How to Be a Good Tutor (Private Tutor) for Students

Private Tutor
My Own Property
Nowadays, there are many students who determine to have more additional time in their study ours than usual. Students who usually study only in class, now many of them who add their study hours in tutoring institution, whether in regular class (in classroom) or private class (in student’s house). The reasons are also various, for example: they cannot understand well the subject that they learn in the class, parents’ demand to their children to be able to master certain subject, preparation for examination, and etc. Of course, it becomes the tutoring institution’s own challenge and the private tutors themselves in order that the students can get what they expected in taking the course. So that, the tutoring institution and the tutor must provides utmost what the students’ needs are.

Then, how to deal with this? How can the students achieve their expectation by adding the study hours in tutoring institution or private tutor? Certainly, they expect more than what they learn class and expect something different. Here, I will focus on the private tutors’ role in handling the students because they directly deal with the students. I will discuss about how to be a good tutor in order that they can maximize their role as the private tutor. So that, the students will feel something different in their study and can achieve what they want.
1. Understanding the students’ character
This is the first thing to do when the tutor and students meet for the first time. Tutor has to understand the student’s character well before deciding the best method in tutoring. Whether they are quiet, talk-active, easy to be bored, shy, easy to understand, difficult to understand, etc or not. By knowing those characters, now the tutor should determine the best method in dealing with them. And as much as possible, the method must suit to the student’s character. So that, the tutoring process will be going well because there are the same characters between the student and tutor and the method used is appropriate.

2. Understanding the students’ problem
In this case, understanding the students’ problem is very necessary. Ask them what their problems are actually. It is needed because some students sometimes have a problem which is reluctant to admit it. For instance: the students cannot understand the materials that are given in the classroom, cannot concentrate while studying, easily bored while studying, feel not confident, etc. Those problems must be solved soon in order that the learning activity will be going well.

3. Understanding the students’ needs
After knowing the students’ problem, the next is understanding the students’ needs. To know it, the tutor can ask them directly what their needs are or ask them what their goals and their motivations are. For instance: how to know the tips in studying easily, how to get the best score in class, or for preparing the examination, etc. So that, the tutor will map the tutoring process easily and determine the exact steps and method that will be applied. As a result, the students’ needs will be fulfilled.

4. Give something different
Perhaps, this is what the most students expect, that is experiencing something different to the things that they usually have in the classroom. When there are students who cannot understand the material well in the classroom due to the monotone lesson, so give them the various learning activity and method which is different. When there are students who easily bored while studying in the classroom, so give them the different atmosphere. For example the tutor can ask them to study outdoor such as in the garden, under the tree, gazebo, etc that could uplift their desire of learning. Therefore, they will be experiencing something new and feel that study is a fun and missed thing.

5. Be a model and motivator
Just like a Javanese saying, “Guru itu digugu dan ditiru” that means teacher is a model that should be trusted and imitated. As well as a teacher, tutor should be a model for the students. Hence, give them a good model, such as in personality, behavior, and words. Certainly, it will be an additional point because, indeed, teaching is not only about material, but also manner and character. Besides, tutor also should be able to motivate the students. Motivate them to study hard and never give up. Motivate them by praising them when they could do the task well, could understand the material well, and for their achievement, etc. The point is how to arise their confidence. So that, they will believe in their own abilities.

6. Mastering the materials
It is a must for a tutor to master the material they teach. The mastery of materials can be done by some ways. For example: learning first before tutoring, finding some relevant materials from other resources, and preparing some answers for anticipating the possible questions from the students. If tutor does not master the materials, it will decrease the tutor’s confidence itself. Then, when you as a tutor do not know the answer of the students’ question, just answer it honestly if you cannot answer. However, try to find the answer and tell them in the next meeting that you have found the answer.

7. Firm and discipline
Being firm without being rude, actually. The firmness of tutor in the tutoring process is needed. Being firm here is in the positive aspect. For instance: if it is wrong, juts tell that it is wrong with the explanation or the reasons. If it is right, just tell them if it is right with the explanation or the reasons. When the tutoring is out of the track, just remind them. It is needed in order to keep the tutor’s prestige, and to prevent the student’s arbitrary and to keep the tutoring stay on the track. Then, the discipline of the tutor will influence the students. The discipline here is discipline of the time, from the beginning until the end of the tutoring process. Or the discipline on knowledge, that is the reliable materials. By doing that, indirectly the tutor teaches them a good personality.

8. Friendly and pleasant
Be a friendly and pleasant tutor. Always looks passionate and enthusiasm. Pleasant and make students comfortable. The friendliness here means that the students and tutor respect each other, be polite, be patient, and care. Then, tutor also be pleasant means that give something new and different to the classroom atmosphere, be able to melt the atmosphere in order that the tutoring will be fun and relaxed.

9. Make a friend, not a teacher
The common thing while studying in classroom is dominated by the teacher that makes a big gap between them. In tutoring, as much as possible give them time to speak, deliver the idea, and discuss something. So that, they will not feel clumsy and afraid when they want to ask and discuss something. By doing that, the tutoring activity will be lively, interactive, and relaxed. However, remember that there is still a gap too between them, but the tutor and the student must understand it. As a result, the student will still respect the tutor, and the students also will feel more comfortable to study.

10. Be patient
This is the thing that the tutor must have, that is patience. It is due to the various characters of students such as lazy, easily bored, not enthusiasm, naughty, not respect, etc. Those various characters that could make the tutor lose their patience. If the tutor lose their patience, it will make the tutoring not feel pleasant anymore. If it happens, the tutoring process will lose the essential of learning. That is why tutor must keep in mind to be patient although it is difficult to implement.

That is about bow to be a good tutor, especially private tutor. I believe that there many differences ways to make a good tutor, but I hope that this writing could be useful. Good luck!

Kaligua Agro-tourism, Brebes, Indonesia

Kaligua Agro-tourism, Brebes, Indonesia

masterpiece indonesia
My Own Property
Talking about holidays is endless. Various destinations to hang out are the main target for those who want to spend their holidays with family, friends, or partners. So many interesting tourist destinations that certainly make us confused about where to go, right? But don't worry anymore because today I will share about a very interesting tourist destination, precisely at Brebes, Indonesia.
Indonesia
My Own property
Kaligua Agro-tourism (Agrowisata Kaligua), that's the name of the tourist destination this time. Kaligua is located in Pandansari Village, Paguyangan, Brebes, Central Java, Indonesia. It's recommended place to visit. If we visit to Brebes, I'm sure that all of you know about this place. Kaligua is a tourist destination that provides natural beauty that is still very natural and very beautiful. It is located in the natural mountain which is surrounded by the green and beautiful hills. The temperature is around 4-22 degrees Celsius. Of course it is very cool and fresh.

The trip to get to the location is very beautiful because we will pass through the slope just like to reach the top of hill with a variety of big trees around it. Not only that, the beauty of the city, the mountains, and other scenery around it also looks so beautiful. Surely it spoils our eyes, right?
Beautiful place indonesia

When on the trip to Kaligua Agro-tourism which is indeed located on the hill’s peak, we will pass a lake that is mostly inhabited by catfish. There are thousands or maybe millions catfish there and when we sow food, the catfish will directly snatch the food up till there is no food left. It’s very interesting. The lake is called Telaga Ranjeng. However, we are not allowed to catch or carry the catfish because the lake and catfish have a myth. The myth is that there will be bad luck for those who catch or carry the catfish. Maybe it's just a myth, but we as humans can only take refuge in the Almighty of God. Anyhow, we have to respect it, because it becomes one of the ways to protect the nature and maintain the local wisdom of a region.

Various natural spots are available here. One of which is a vast expanse of tea plantation. Green tea plantation hills will be immediately visible when we enter this place. We can enjoy the beauty of the tea plantation while around and can take pictures as we wish because there many supporting spots there.

Then there is also Goa Jepang (Japanese Cave) which certainly has its own historical values. Goa Jepang is quite interesting because it’s located under the tea plantation hill. So its location is so close to the tea plantation. We will be guided when we go inside because it’s quite dark and there are many tunnels. There are also several places inside the cave that witnessed the detention and the torturing of prisoners by Japanese at that time. There are several sculptural scenes/statues that describe the past situation such as the detention. There also the explanations of each spot that explains what for that spot in the past. Of course, it can also be a historical education for those who like to visit historical sites.

In Kaligua, there are also natural water sources of mountain (spring water) that are very clear and fresh. It flows swiftly and sounds calmly. Because of that, it’s called Tuk Bening (Clear spring water). It can make us fresher after walking around in the tea plantation. It’s suitable for just for washing your face or washing your hands and feet.

The facilities here are also complete, such as toilets, food stalls, mosque, parking lots, hotels, cafes, playgrounds, etc. and of course all is affordable prices. The entrance ticket is also still affordable. Sometimes the ticket is one package covers for all spots there. There is also an additional charge for cars or motorcycles parking. Contoh Tes Kerja di Perusahaan

Contoh Tes Kerja di Perusahaan

Masterpiece Indonesia
My Own Property

1. Tes Kompetensi Dasar (sekitar 90% soal hitungan)
2. Tes Kesehatan (kesehatan mata, tensi darah, berat badan, tinggi badan, riwayat penyakit, riwayat operasi)
3. Wawancara dengan HRD
4. Tes melanjutkan teks narrative dalam Bahasa Inggris 1 lembar HVS (tulis tangan)
5. Tes melanjutkan cerita dalam Bahasa Inggris1 lembar HVS (tulis tangan)
6. Tes menceritakan diri sendiri dalam Bahasa Inggris 1 lembar HVS (tulis tangan)
7. Tes menanggapi/memberikan pendapat/mengkritisi sebuah teks dalam Bahasa Inggris 1 lembar HVS (tulis tangan)

Alhamdulillah!

Hari Kedua (Jum’at):
1. Pemaparan ranah kerja divisi export
Ranah kerjanya berupa melakukan pencatatan terkait kegiatan export barang.
2. Jam kerja
Jam kerja normal seharusnya 8 jam (07.00 WIB-15.00 WIB).
3. Gaji (pokok dan lembur)
Gaji pokok tentu diatas UMR.

Semoga sukses!

[Tips dan Trik UN 2] Contoh Soal UN Bahasa Inggris SMP/SMA dan Pembahasannya, Bagian 2.

[Tips dan Trik UN 2] Contoh Soal UN Bahasa Inggris SMP/SMA dan Pembahasannya,
Bagian 2.

Masterpiece Dede
My Own Property

Ide pokok masing-masing paragraph

Contoh:
Monas National Monument
Monas National Monument is a 132-meter tower in the center of Merdeka Square, Central Jakarta, Indonesia Jakarta, is the capital of the state. It symbolizes the struggle for Indonesian independence of our country.
The monument consists of a 117.7 m obelisk on a 45m square platform at a height of 17 m. Towering monument symbolizes the philosophy of Lingga and Yoni. Resembles a phallus, or pestle mortar pestle and Yoni resembles rice or mortar, two important things in the tradition of Indonesian agriculture.
Construction began in 1961 under the direction of President Sukarno, the first president of the us and the monument was opened to the public in 1975. It is topped by a flame covered with gold foil, and now the monument calls.
Source: https://brechonana.blogspot.com

What does the text mostly tell us about?
A. Monas National Monument
B. The location of Monas National Monument
C. The construction of Monas National Monument
D. Presiden Soekarno

Dan tujuannya adalah “To tell about…”

Ide pokok masing-masing paragraf

Contoh:
A Trip to the Zoo
Yesterday my family went to the zoo to see the elephant and other animal. When we got to the zoo, we went to the shop to buy some food to give to the animals. After getting the food we went to the nocturnal house where we saw birds and reptiles which only come out at night.
Before lunch we went for a ride on the elephant. It was a thrill to ride it. Dad nearly fell off when he let go of the rope. During lunch we fed some birds in the park. In the afternoon we saw the animals being fed.
When we returned home we were tired but happy because we had so much fun.
Source: https://luthfan.com

“It was a thrill to ride it.” (Paragraph 2)
The underline word refers to…
A. Lunch
B. Elephant
C. Zoo
D. Birds

Jawaban dan pembahasan:
Pertanyaan tersebut mengacu pada paragraf 2. Jadi kita hanya perlu baca paragraf 2 saja. Kata kuncinya adalah “it”. Maka cari kata “it” di paragraf 2 sesuai kalimat diatas.

Biasanya terdapat judul/tujuan teks (How to make/do domething…), bahan/alat, dan urutan cara/langkah-langkahnya.

Pertanyaan yang sering muncul adalah:
Tujuan teks tersebut (How to make/how to do)

Contoh:
How to make a cup of coffee
Materials and Ingredients:
1. one spoon of coffee powder
2. 2 spoons of sugar
3. hot water
4. a cup
5. a spoon

Procedure:
1. Prepare two spoons of sugar, a cup, hot water, a spoon of coffee powder, a spoon.
2. Put 2 spoons of sugar and a spoon of coffee powder into the cup.
3. Pour some hot water into the cup.
4. Stir it gradually and the hot coffee is ready to drink
Source: https://www.englishiana.com

What should we do after putting sugar and coffee into the cup?
A. Pour hot water
B. Stir the coffee
C. Prepare the spoon
D. Drink

Ide pokok masing-masing paragraf
Sinonim/antonim
Kata ganti rujukan (kata ini merujuk kepada…)
Nilai moral dari yang bisa dipetik
Bagaimana karakter tokoh, dll.

Untuk menjawabnya, hampir sama seperti penjelasan sebelumnya. Bacalah semua soalnya terlebih dahulu.

Contoh:
The Lion and The Mouse
When he was awakened by a tiny Mouse running across his body, a mighty Lion was sleeping in his lair. The lion then grabbed the frightened mouse with his huge paws and opened his mouth to swallow him directly. "Please, King," begged the Mouse, "Spare me this time and of course I will never forget your kindness. Someday I may be able to repay you. "The Lion thought that it was such an amusing idea that he let the poor creature go.
Sometimes later the Lion was caught in a net laid by some hunters. Despite his great strength, the Lion could not break free. Soon the forest echoed with angry load roars.
The Little Mouse heard the Lion and ran to see what was wrong. As soon as he succeeded to make the Lion free "There!" said the Mouse proudly, " You laughed at me when I promised to repay your kindness, but now you know that even a tiny Mouse can help a mighty Lion."
