The Lazy Boy and a Hoe

Once upon time, there was a boy who the name was Patto. He was handsome, but he was a lazy and arrogant boy. He just lived with his old mother as a farmer. His father was died five years ago. Every day his mother went to the rice field and garden to plant. His mother  always looked tired, but Patto never helped her. The boy thought that he was a handsome boy, so he did not proper to be a farmer.

One day, his mother looked very tired. She laid at home. She asked patto to hoe in the rice field to be planted rice, but the boy refused it.

 “Patto,  I am very tired today, could you go to the rice field to hoe?” asked his mother.

 “No, I could not. I am lazy. I do not proper to be a farmer. I am too handsome to be a farmer. Why do not you do it by yourself?”

“ Iam very tired today, I need to take a rest today”, answered his mother.

“It is not my business!!” answered the boy angrily.

Then the boy was going out the home angrily. He went to play with his friends. He just played, ate, and slept every day. He never helped his parents although his parents looked tired worked along day every day.

Once day, his mother was sick. She could not went to the rice field to plant. She asked Patto again to plant in the rice field, but Patto refused it again. He knew that his mother was sick, but Patto ignored it. He did not care about his mother condition. He just wanted having happy.

“Patto, I cannot to plant today, I feel not well.  Could you replace me to plant in the rice field today? Only today. Could you, please?”

“It is not my business!! I is lazy, I just want to have fun today. My friends is waiting for me in the river”

“Why do not you never care about me, your mother? I work every day for you, but you never help me. You always ignore it and just have fun every day with your friends. Have you ever thought about your father? He just leave a hoe for us when he died. He want you to use the hoe kindly. He want you to be a hardworker man, wise man, and success man. But now, you are a lazy man, arrogant and…”.

“Stop!!!!” answered the boy angrily. “I do not care about it, it is my life. It is not your business what I would to be”.

The boy ran away left his mother alone. His mother just cried and held her sickness. She prayed in order that the boy could be kind boy. She looked at the hoe. She remembered his father who was very kind, wise, and hardworker man. But did not the boy. The boy did not know that his mother sick seriously. The boy just had fun with his friends without care about his mother who was sick at home.

          In the evening, the boy just came back home. He felt hungry, but did not food there. He called his mother, but there was no answered.

“Mother…I is hungry now. Mother…why there iss no food here. Mother.!!!”

 He looked for his mother. He came to mother’s bed room and he found his mother slept. He woke his mother up, but his mother did not woke up. Then he realized that his mother was died. He was very regretted about it. He cried and screamed. He was very regretted because along his life he never helped, cared, and thought about his mother. He had lost his father, now he lost his mother.

          A week later, he remembered about the hoe that his parents left. He thought about what was the secret of the hoe. He remembered about his parents’ hardwork for life. He tried to rise of his laziness. He tried to use the hoe to find the secret of it. He went to the rice field to hoe. Then he planted rice, vegetables, and everything that can be planted. He tried to be hardworker man like his parents wanted.

          A year later, the boy who was used to be lazy boy, now he is a hardworker boy. He become a success boy with his agrarian business. He is aware that hardwork is a key to be success. He is proud on his parents who heir a hoe for him.

……Then the soldier chose to open the left door. He was very nervous about what behind the door was. The soldier began to open the door.  A big lion appeared after the door opened. The soldier was very surprised. Not only the soldier, the princess also felt afraid the soldier could not defeated the lion. Then, The soldier walked backward because the lion looked very wild and hungry. The sharpness lion’s sight seemed wanted to eat the soldier, but it was not made the soldier felt fear.  Step by step the lion began to walk approached the soldier. The soldier just walked backward slowly and took a small knife from his pocket. And that was right, the lion ran into the soldier wildly and ready to pounce on the soldier. The soldier also got ready to fight the lion. With small knife on his hand, the soldier just avoided and waited for the exact time to fight the lion. When the lion wanted to pounce the solder, the soldier jumped and stuck the lion’s head used a small knife on her hand. Then, the lion can be defeated instantly

Finally, after the soldier defeated the lion, It made the princess felt happy and proud of the soldier. She thought that his father will allow her to marry with the soldier after won the fight, but it was opposite. The king stood up with his getting-red face. He was surprised that the wild and big lion can be defeated easily by the soldier. The king was angry because the lion was his beloved lion in the castle.  Therefore, the king asked the archer to shoot the soldier. The dart stuck on his foot. Again and again the darts are shot to the soldier. The darts stuck in every part of his body, but the soldier never surrendered. He revoked the darts out from his body.  The princess did not heart saw that situation. Suddenly the princess screamed and ran into the soldier and wanted to help him. The princess approached the soldier and hugged him. She cried and wiped the blood on the soldier body. The soldier seemed weak and helpless. Then, the king asked the archers to stop shooting because he did not want to hurt the princess. Because the king was loved the princess very much, he did not heart saw the princess cried. The king knew how pure and sincere their love. It made the king was aware of his guilt. He was aware that he should prioritized the princess happiness, did not his personal interests. Finally, the king asked his soldiers to help and bring the soldier and the princess into the castle. The king asked his medic to heal the soldier. Saw this situation, it made the princess calm, and she hoped the king allowed him to marry with her.

A week later, the soldier got over from his hurt. Then, the king asked the soldier to marry with the princess and asked the soldier to be commander. Now, they live happily forever after.
