Writing is an important matter of learning English. Because writing is very important, we have to practice a lot in writing. No matter write some articles, essays, diaries, reports, novels, or something like that. In writing, we can pour all our feelings, ideas, and everything without considering how to pronounce it. Will and desire also very important matter to make an interesting writing. So, let us improve our writing desire start from now. 

            After we know how important writing is, we also have to know how to make an interesting writing. One matter that we have to know is how to make our writing purpose can be caught by readers clearly. It is important because if the readers understand what we mean, they will also feel what we feel in our writing. It means that writing must communicative. As a result, the readers understand what we mean. So, they will enjoy reading our writing. It Indicates that we are success to make interesting writing.

           

The next point is how to make our writing pilled up tidily and can be read kindly. The point is the process of writing. There are four (4) points or steps of the process of writing. These are : Brainstorming (Mind-mapping), Drafting, Finalizing, and Proof reading.

v Brainstorming

Brainstorming is the first step before we start writing. In brainstorming we have to make mind-mapping of the topic that will be written. For example, using question word 5w+1H. Then make a point that will be explained or be sticked out. It be done to make writing easier and not confusing about what will be written during writing.

v Drafting

The second step is drafting. In this step we have to make priority of brainstorming that we have done.  Make a list of priority from the most important point to the explanation point or not too important point. It is done to stick out what point that we will give to readers.  It makes our writing is interesting. So, the readers will feel interest in the first point that they read. It will make them necessary to continue reading our writing.

v Finalizing

The third step is finalizing. In this step we start writing based on the priority list that we have done in drafting. We start writing from the most important point to the explanation point or not too important point. Do not forget to follow the step of writing. In this step we have to make our writing is interesting. One matter that we have to know is the coherence between the sentences. One sentence must has relation with each others. So, readers will not confuse when read our writing. As a result, they know the purpose of our writing and understand what we mean.

v Proof Reading

This is the last step of process of writing. This step is important to do after finish writing and before be published. We have to ask someone, friends, or teachers to read our writing. So, we will know our mistake of our writing, and we can revise our mistake into the correct one. It must be done by expert people in writing or we can call “proof reader”. As a result, we can publish our writing with the high quality.

            Thus are the steps in writing. After we learn about those steps and processes, we can start writing from now with strong writing desire. We do not to be afraid to write, always try and try. Always write, write, and write. So, improve our writing desire by loving writing start from now.
