Becoming a Young Intelligent and Faithful Generation
Young generations is must not only have a good intelligent, but also a good in faith in order to become a golden generation in 2045
Semarang, (13/5) Many students were attending youth talkshow enthusiastically. This event was held by Islamic Organization of Languages and Arts Faculty (FBS), Linguabase Unnes. This event was one of the sequences events of Festival Bulan Syiar to welcome Ramadhan 1438 H.
This event is the annual event of Linguabase agenda as one of the way to facilitate students to uplift the better personality. The theme of this event was “Becoming an Intelligent and Well-Morality Generation for Facing Golden Generation in 2045”. “The reason for choosing this theme is because there are many of Indonesian people who are well intelligence, but bad in faith”, said Andi as the chief of the event (13/05). “For example, there are many statesmen who do corruption. They are well intelligence, but bad in faith. That is why moral education for young generation is very important” Added Andi (13/05).
There were three speakers who contributed in this event. The first was Mr. Makhmud Kuncahyo who concerned on the young generation in order to have a creation and well achievements. He as a model that young generation could achieve something better without overriding the faith because faith is the most important thing in life. The second speaker was Mr. Rohani who concerned in the young spirit in order to keep the young generation in the Islamic syariah. He noticed to young generation to keep learning syariah as the basic for overstepping this life. The third speaker was Mr. Joko who concerned in how to be a good personality as well as the Islamic syariah. He said that a good personality is the reflection of out behavior and our faith.
This youth talkshow has been held for three times since 2015. In this year, the event was held in LP3 building, Unnes on Saturday, May 13th 2017 at 8 a.m. until 11.45 a.m. The participants of this event were not only the students of FBS, but also others students from other faculties in Unnes. This event was started by the opening by the third vice of FBS dean by striking a gong, followed by speeches, then the main agenda was talkshow, discussion, giving door prize, and the last was closing.
The participants who were attending this talkshow were more than 100 students. They got some special facilities like free entry, snack, e-certificate, new knowledge, and to be certain was new friends. Andi as the chief of this event hopes that by holding this event, it will bring over the students’ awareness that we should not only well intelligence, but also well in faith and good character. Because if we are just well intelligence, it will bring us to the negative matter like corruption, etc. “For young generation, keep learning religion knowledge because the more we learn, the more we are thirsty about knowledge”, Noticed Andi to Indonesian young generation (13/05)
